Nowadays it is really important to use technology in all fields, even in Education. That's because of evolution and globalization of the world.
ReplyDeleteIn Colombia there are some entities which are involving and developing projects about technology in different limbs of Education of them is the following by Colciencias that is an Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation:
Science, Technology and Innovation in Education
In año1983 is emerging in the country a concern for education research and pedagogy, encouraging members of the educational community to reflect and propose guidelines for the development of a National Program of Science and Technology for the specific field. These considerations were the basis for Decree 585 of 1991, the proposed National Program for Scientific Studies of Education as one of the programs of the National Science and Technology.
Thus, since the nineties it begins to strengthen education as a field of knowledge, through the promotion of research in priority areas in education, the creation of institutional spaces for educational research and pedagogy, supporting the dissemination and appropriation the results of social research, strengthening the research community in education, and building support groups and research centers in the educational topic.
The program in his 18 years has funded 331 researches in different thematic areas in education. Funded researches are mostly in the Capital District and in the departments of Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, Atlántico, Santander, Cauca and Caldas. Funding for the project has been focused mostly on public university, and to a lesser extent in private universities, NGOs and schools. Institutions that have received the most funding are: Universidad del Valle, Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia Normal University, District University of Bogotá and National University of Colombia.
The resources provided by Colciencias from 1991 to 2009 amounted to $ 24,359,800 in constant pesos ($ 13,473,041,180 current pesos); the counterpart of the institutions has been $ 37,101,880 ($ 21,835,335,230 current pesos) for a total of $ 61,461,680 ($ 33,571,886,000 current pesos) invested in the program over the years.
